Whether you’re looking for a perfect wedding venue, comfortable and convenient conference space, or a place to host your favourite function, The Oakhouse Lodge can accommodate it all with ease.

This four-star guesthouse boasts thirteen en-suite double bedrooms, expansive grassy lawns, and even a swimming pool. In addition, the Lodge offers conference facilities as well as excellent catering services, and is host to a stunning wedding venue.

Stay at The Oakhouse Lodge

Our guesthouse boasts thirteen luxury en-suite double rooms, each with WiFi access, DSTV, complimentary coffee, tea and water, and a safe to store your valuables. Nine of the rooms at The Oakhouse Lodge have their own private entrances, and there’s ample parking space in our grounds for additional guests.

Our daily rate includes a hearty dinner, a comfortable bed and a full continental breakfast. Lunch and breakfast packs are available on request. Our friendly, capable and professional staff service the rooms daily, and will take care of your laundry at a minimal extra cost.

The combination of available rooms at the guesthouse, accompanied by the peaceful setting and additional facilities make The Oakhouse Lodge an ideal place for conferences, weddings and private functions alike.

Weddings

A country style wedding venue

The Oakhouse Lodge is an elite wedding venue which can both cater for and host your special day. We can host up to 120 guests in our Banquet Hall and the Lodge’s accommodation can be completely booked out for your guests, ensuring the venue is kept private for your special day.

We are also very proud to be able to offer “The Bridal Suite”, a secluded apartment with its own private garden nestled at the back of our property for the exclusive use of the bride and groom.

Our on-site chapel, with its antique wooden shutters, hand-made chandeliers and intimate atmosphere, provides the perfect place to say your “I Do’s”.

Our magnificent garden – lovingly tended to every day by our team of gardeners – and the surrounding farmland, offers the perfect backdrop for capturing memories you’ll want to re-live for the rest of your lives.

 

Functions

A diverse function and conferencing venue

The Oakhouse Lodge is able to cater for an array of functions – from corporate conferences and seminars to birthday parties.

The Chapel is an ideal venue for weddings, christenings, and the renewal of wedding vows in front of family and loved ones. The quaint space, a converted barn, can seat up to 120 guests. Alternatively, it can be used as a conference facility, accommodating up to 60 people.

Our Banquet Hall, which boasts a handsome bar, can accommodate up to 120 guests. A multi-functional space, it is perfect for classy celebrations, gatherings of friends and family, as well as corporate meetings and dinners. From setup to cuisine, The Oakhouse Lodge can cater for many occasions. The Lapa is the perfect venue for more intimate gatherings or dinners and can seat up to 30 people.

Catering

A convenient catering option

Our qualified Chef here at The Oakhouse Lodge has over 8 years experience as a member of our staff. He makes delicious meals for our guests every morning and evening, with the same passion and skill he has exhibited for almost a decade.

All our food is made on-site, and we’re able to cater for a variety of functions – from platters for both corporate and private clients, to three-course wedding dinners. Our platters are suitable for any occasion, including board meetings held in large halls and celebrations in your own home.
